We Run a Small Digital Marketing Firm in Chandigarh. Here’s What Our Internship Actually Looks Like.

There’s a frustrating loop that most freshers in India know very well.

You finish school or college. You start applying for jobs. And every listing you open says the same thing:

“Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience required.”

You sit back and think — where am I supposed to get that experience from? No one will hire me without it. And I can’t get it without someone giving me a chance first.

It’s not your fault. It’s a gap that exists in the system, and it has been there for a long time. There’s no magic solution. But one thing that genuinely moves things forward is getting some real exposure to how actual work happens — before you go hunting for a full-time job.

That’s partly why we started accepting interns here at SEO Visible Brain.

But before I go further, let me say this clearly — this article is not only for freshers.

If you’re a business owner who runs a local shop, a service business, or a startup and you want to understand digital marketing for your own growth, this is relevant to you too. If you’re a doctor, a lawyer, a teacher, a consultant, or any kind of professional who wants to understand how online visibility actually works — read on.

We’ll cover everything here. What this internship is, who can join, what you’ll learn, what the fees look like, how the stipend works, and — very importantly — what this internship is not.

What Is This Internship?

SEO Visible Brain is a small digital marketing firm in Chandigarh. We are MSME Udyam Registered and operate as a freelancer proprietary firm.

Let me say clearly what we are not:

We are not a university. We are not a college. We are not a coaching center. We are not a training institute. We are not a franchise. We are not a big corporate company with a large team and a fancy boardroom.

We are a working firm. That means we have real clients. We handle real SEO projects. We run actual ad campaigns. We manage real social media accounts for businesses. We build websites that real people use.

When you intern with us, you’re not sitting in a classroom staring at slides made two years ago. You’re watching — and gradually participating in — actual work that goes to real clients.

The internship runs for 6 weeks to 6 months, depending on what you want and how much time you have. Classes are held on weekends only, which means students still in college and professionals with weekday jobs can manage this without having to rearrange their entire life.

We offer both online and offline options. You don’t have to be physically present in Chandigarh if that doesn’t work for you.

Who Can Join?

Read this section carefully — especially if you think you might not qualify.

You do not need a specific degree.

Here is a full list of people who are welcome to join:

  • 10th Pass students
  • 12th Pass students
  • Students currently in college
  • Recent graduates with any degree — BCA, MCA, BBA, MBA, BTech CSE, BA, BSc, BCom, BE, or anything else
  • Business owners — local shops, service businesses, startups, freelancers
  • Working professionals — doctors, teachers, lawyers, coaches, consultants, trainers
  • Job seekers
  • Career switchers

If you passed 10th standard and are reading this — yes, you are welcome here. Please do not feel that you need a degree to learn digital marketing. You don’t.

The actual requirement is simple:

  • You can use a computer or laptop
  • You can browse the internet
  • You know how to send an email
  • You use WhatsApp
  • You can type reasonably
  • You are willing to show up and learn

That’s the real eligibility list. If you can tick those basic things, you can join.

We have worked with people from many different backgrounds. Engineers, arts graduates, school leavers, small shop owners who just wanted to stop depending on someone else for their Facebook page. Digital marketing is one of those rare fields where what you’re willing to put in matters more than what your marksheet says.

What Will You Learn?

Let me break each area down in plain language.

SEO — Getting Found on Google

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. In simple words, it’s the work of making a website appear on Google when someone searches for something related to that business.

If someone in Chandigarh searches “best dentist near me” on Google, and a dental clinic has done proper SEO, their website shows up near the top. That means more people find them. More people call. More patients walk in.

Businesses need SEO because if they’re not showing up on Google, their competitors are. And customers go to whoever shows up first.

As someone who knows SEO, you can freelance for clients, work at a digital marketing agency, or join a company as an in-house SEO person. It’s a skill with consistent demand across industries.

Social Media Marketing — Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn

Most businesses today have some social media presence. But “having a page” and “actually using it well” are very different things.

Social media marketing involves figuring out what content to create, when to post, how to build an audience that actually cares about the business, and how to engage people in a way that builds real trust over time.

Each platform works differently. Instagram is visual and relies heavily on short-form video and images. Facebook works well for community building and targeted ads. LinkedIn is mostly for B2B services and professional businesses.

You’ll see how we manage social media for real clients — what we plan, why we choose certain formats, and how we measure whether it’s working.

PPC — Google Ads

PPC means Pay Per Click. This is paid advertising that shows up at the top of Google search results with a small “Sponsored” label.

When a business wants traffic fast — not six months from now — they can run Google Ads. They pay only when someone actually clicks. You’ll learn how these campaigns are built, how budgets are set, how to write ad copy, and how to read the results to know if the money is being spent well.

Social Ads — Facebook and Instagram Advertising

Different from Google Ads, but just as important. This is paid advertising directly on Facebook and Instagram.

A business can show ads to very specific groups of people — by location, age, interests, behavior. For example, a yoga studio might target women aged 25–45 in Sector 17 who follow fitness content. You’ll learn how these campaigns are structured, what kind of visuals and copy work, and how to track results.

WordPress — Building and Managing Websites

WordPress powers a huge portion of websites on the internet. You don’t need to be a programmer to work with it.

What you’ll learn is practical — how to set up pages, add and update content, manage images, work with plugins, and handle basic website maintenance. This skill is useful whether you’re managing your own website, working for a client, or helping a business that has an outdated site.

Why Learn With a Small Working Firm?

I want to be honest with you here, because I think it matters before you decide where to spend your time and money.

Large institutes and training companies exist, and some of them are fine. But there is a real difference between learning inside a classroom built for training and learning inside a firm where the work is actually happening.

In a large institute, you are often one of 40 or 50 people in a batch. The content is designed for everyone, which means it fits no one perfectly. A lot of time is spent on theory, pre-made exercises, and examples that were probably relevant two years ago.

That has its place. But real learning happens when you see real decisions being made.

When you intern with us, you’re sitting inside a small working team. You see what we do for a client whose website traffic dropped last month. You see how we plan a social media calendar for a business that’s launching something new. You see what happens when an ad campaign doesn’t perform and how we adjust it.

In a small firm, you are not a registration number. We notice you. We notice whether you’re paying attention. We notice whether you’re putting in effort. There’s less formality and more direct conversation. Your questions actually get answered — not filed away for “the next session.”

This is not us saying we’re better than everyone else. This is us explaining what the environment actually is, so you know what you’re choosing.

What This Internship Is Not

We believe being upfront here saves everyone time.

This is not a guaranteed job placement. We do not promise you a job at the end. We give you exposure, skills, and a certificate. What you do with those is up to you.

This is not a shortcut. If you’re thinking you can attend a few sessions and walk away with a marketable skill overnight, it won’t work that way. Digital marketing takes practice, repetition, and patience. There are no shortcuts.

This is not a certificate collection program. We’ve had a few people join just to get a certificate for their CV, without actually wanting to learn. That wastes their time and ours. We’d rather work with someone genuinely curious and a bit rough around the edges than someone polished who just wants a piece of paper.

This is not free. There is a fee involved, covered below. We’re a small working firm, not a charity. But we’ve kept the cost affordable on purpose because we understand what it’s like to be starting out with limited money.

If you’re looking for real learning inside a real working environment — this is for you. If you’re looking for something else, this might not be the right fit, and that’s okay too.

Stipend & Certificate Details

Fees

The internship fee is ₹3,000 per month.

We know that’s not a small amount, especially for a student or someone just starting out. We’ve kept it as low as we reasonably can because we want this to be accessible to people who are serious about learning.

Stipend — Read This Carefully

The stipend is not automatic. It is not guaranteed to every person who joins.

We offer a performance reward of ₹1,000 to ₹2,000 to interns who:

  • Attend regularly
  • Come on time
  • Complete assigned work
  • Are actively learning and asking questions
  • Contribute to the projects we’re working on

If you do these things consistently, you will be considered for the stipend. If you attend irregularly, don’t finish tasks, or just sit through sessions without engaging, you will not receive it.

We’re being direct about this because we’ve seen other programs make vague promises about stipends that never actually show up. We’d rather you know exactly how it works from the start than feel misled later.

Certificates

You will receive:

  1. Internship Completion Certificate — issued at the end of the internship period
  2. 6-Month Real Job Experience Certificate — for interns who complete a full 6 months with us

Both certificates are issued by SEO Visible Brain, an MSME Udyam Registered firm. They reflect actual work experience, not just attendance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can a 10th pass student join?

Yes, fully. There is no minimum education requirement here. If you have basic computer and internet skills and you’re genuinely willing to learn, you are eligible. We mean that. A 10th pass student who shows up consistently will get far more out of this than a degree holder who doesn’t.

Do I need a degree to apply?

No. Degrees from any field are welcome, but they are not required. Digital marketing is a practical skill. What you put in is what you get out. We care more about your effort and consistency than your academic background.

Is the internship available online?

Yes. We offer both online and offline modes. If you’re not in Chandigarh, or if coming in person doesn’t work for your schedule, online is a perfectly workable option.

Is the stipend guaranteed?

No. This is important to understand. The stipend of ₹1,000 to ₹2,000 is a performance reward. It is given to interns who attend regularly, finish their work, and actively participate. It is not paid automatically just because you registered. We’ve been clear about this from the start so there are no surprises later.

Do I need to know coding or programming?

No coding knowledge is required. For WordPress work, you’ll learn through doing — not through programming. Everything we teach is focused on practical tasks, not writing code.

Can business owners and working professionals join?

Absolutely. Some of our most engaged learners have been business owners who wanted to stop depending on an agency for everything, or professionals who wanted to understand how to market their own services online. If you fall into either category, this internship can work very well for you.

Will I get a certificate at the end?

Yes. You’ll receive an Internship Completion Certificate when you finish. If you complete 6 months, you’ll also receive a Real Job Experience Certificate. Both come from a registered MSME firm and represent real work — not just attendance.

A Final Word

We started taking interns because we believe the best way to learn digital marketing is to see it actually being done.

Not through pre-recorded videos. Not through made-up assignments. Through real client work, real problems, and real results.

We are a small firm. We don’t have a big office or a marketing team that polishes everything we say. What we do have is honest work happening every day — and a genuine interest in helping the right people learn from it.

If you’re a fresher who’s hit that wall where every job wants experience you don’t have yet — this is one practical step forward.

If you’re a business owner who’s been spending money on digital marketing without really understanding what’s happening — this can help you take back some control.

If you’re a professional who’s curious about how online visibility actually works — come and see it up close.

We’re not promising miracles. We’re not here to hype you up with promises we can’t keep. We’re offering a real learning environment, at a fair price, inside a working firm where the work is real.

If that sounds right, reach out. We’d like to hear from you.
